Wellington, FL is about as far west as you can go in Palm Beach County without stepping into the northern border of the Everglades. If you have lived in South Florida (or anywhere really) you may be familiar with Wellington and its famous equestrian life-style. Wellington is home to the International Polo Grounds and the internationally known Polo Club. Much like its neighbor to the north, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington is a combination of rural and city living. In fact, Wellington is the commercial and retail hub of West Palm Beach County.

The Mall at Wellington Green is located in the heart of Wellington. It is surrounded by a number of retail and dining options. The city is one of the most laid back and pleasing in all of South Florida. It is also well run and provides a number of parks and community works such as the pool at the Wellington Aquatic Complex.

Due to the fact that many don’t want to drive out to the ocean and eastern cities, there are restaurants that provide some of the finest dining in South Florida. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself dining next celebrities such as Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and Tommy Lee Jones. Southern Blvd is the main thoroughfare that links East and West Palm Beach County. If you don’t want to live right next to the beach, but want to visit it, Wellington may be the perfect place for you.
